Momentum is a four-month collaborative program that helps you turn Instagram followers into engaged community members and book readers. You bring your book, your interests, your audience and your skills; I bring strategy and insight to elevate your activity.

In MOMENTUM I work with you 121 to make sure you’re not launching your book into the void.

Whether you’re preparing for a launch day far into the future, or you’re hurtling towards a hard deadline, MOMENTUM is about taking what you already have and adding extra magic to make it really sing.

For the duration of our time together, I’ll be your book promotion partner and I’ll focus on key strategic areas of your Instagram book marketing where you need guidance, while walking alongside you as you find the right words to speak to your audience about this exciting new chapter.


This is not about pushy marketing tactics that make you feel weird, or aggressive growth strategies that suck up all your time. I will help you find more readers; I will help you enthuse your existing audience so they’re excited to buy your book; BUT I do this by using Instagram as a tool to tend to your connections with your online community so they become your readers without harming your relationships. 


Together, we will layer your individual preferences and capacity over the realities of the platform so you can achieve your aims in a sustainable way without feeling horrible or burning out.

MOMENTUM is best suited (but not exclusive) to writers who:

  • have solid working knowledge of using Instagram (the size of your audience doesn’t matter)

  • want clarity about how to get your existing audience excited about your book, while finding new readers who will love it

  • are a fiction or non-fiction writer who has a traditional book deal and publication date that you want to build momentum towards, OR are planning to self-publish and you have a launch date to work towards 

  • may have built an existing community on Instagram but your book isn’t what they’re used to so you want a strategic approach to promoting your book that won’t alienate that community

  • OR you may have a high level of skill and comfort in using Instagram but you’d like some expert guidance about how to start weaving your writing life into your usual content


How does it work?

Month 1: an initial 60 minute scaffolding session where we dig into the details about you, your preferences, your book, and your ideal reader. We use these insights to create your overall content strategy and after the call you receive written notes and a Quick Wins action plan to implement before our next call.

Months 2, 3, 4: one 60 minute session per month. We focus on key areas where you need guidance; troubleshoot any problems; look at what is working well; and use this information to plan your posts for the month ahead. These sessions will tend to your goals and help you get the most out of your time on Instagram.

PLUS you also enjoy access to weekly check-ins via Instagram DM or email so you can get feedback or ask for advice in between our sessions. 


Price £800

Paying upfront helps sustain my business, however I also offer a non-penalty payment plan of four payments x £200, or eight payments x £100 *

*it’s important to me that my work is as accessible as possible so alternative/ longer payment plans to suit your needs can be arranged on request
